id29 is seeking a mid-level graphic designer

id29 is seeking a mid-level graphic designer to join us designing for new media and print. We are a brand and communication design studio located in Troy, NY, (upstate, near Albany) with a diverse national client base. The ideal candidate has clear communication skills who can take direction from senior creative staff as well as strategic guidance from account services to perform a myriad of design tasks. The strongest applicant is a person who fully understands that our role at id29 is one of service, who can read between the lines of expectation and produce stellar work for our clients. Designers must have excellent communication skills, be able to meet tight deadlines, and have the ability to work in a team studio environment that serves up critical discourse, eclectic music and general creative goodness. A passion for art and design is always appreciated, however this role will assume that the applicant is comfortable in referencing the subjective to solve real problems in a logical and distinctive fashion.

Abilities

• Practical design experience in a corporate/studio/remote setting
• Professional knowledge and use of traditional design software: Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong familiarity and experience in brand identity design and corporate communication
• Familiarity with traditional print production techniques.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for front end site design

Required

• 3–5 years of real experience
• A portfolio demonstrating the above 

Nice to have

• BFA (or equivalent) in design
• 3D and animation capabilities
• Creative writing samples
• Photographic art direction experience
